FlexSleeve is a shape-locking sleeve for flexible endoscopes. In its flexible state, it allows surgeons to navigate through delicate body cavities to reach confined spaces of interest. Once the instrument is in position, FlexSleeve can be "rigidified" on command, enabling tissue manipulation with surgical precision.

  • Proven Executive, Dedicated Clinician, and Serial Entrepreneur with extensive experience bringing innovative technology from bench to bedside. During his young career, Danish has founded and led several successful companies, most notably Schoology, which was the first social-learning based course management system. Today, Schoology has over 12 million users in more than 130 countries, winning numerous awards for bringing quality education to the masses. Despite these successes, Danish wanted to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity that bridge his two interests: Innovation and Healthcare, specifically in the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic devices. To this end, he has been both prolific and innovative, with several high profile publications, national and international presentations, and recognition from several specialty organizations. In addition to his role at Dynamic Surgical, Danish serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Board for Enterprise Bank & Trust, a subsidiary of Enterprise Financial Corp (NASDAQ: EFSC), with over $5 billion in assets serving over 15,000 families in the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Phoenix areas. He also serves on the Clinical Advisory Board for JoMI, an interactive virtual learning platform providing experiential training for surgical residents. In addition, he is as a Strategic Advisor for Eureka Analytics, an exciting early-stage startup with a proprietary automated patentability analyzer that uses state of the art cognitive computing methodology to streamline the invention process for intrapreneurs.

  • Jeff Gamble, an InSITE Fellow and graduate of the biomedical engineering doctoral program at Washington University in St Louis, has been deeply involved in the entrepreneurial community in St Louis in multiple capacities. While spearheading a tissue engineering collaboration for his doctoral research focused on optimizing cell therapies for spinal cord injury, Jeff launched a health-tech startup bridging the gap between grocery shopping and personal health and also worked in a R&D capacity for a local VC-backed medical device startup, Neurolutions. Dr. Gamble’s passion for the intersection between engineering and business development in biotechnology has been exemplified by his accomplishments in the academic arena as well as his continued vigor in the startup ecosystem.

With a background in business management, organizational development, and psychology, Jared has consulted leading institutions, collaborated on cross-functional teams during pivotal times of industry change, and served a co-investigator for investigational compounds and emerging technologies, which led to peer-reviewed publication. Jared has delivered consistent and measurable improvements in operations, strategy, and development, working closely with leaders at all levels of the organization. Jared seeks to create unique value by applying business acumen with clinical and operational expertise to resolve company-wide and industry challenges while making a meaningful personal impact.

  • Travis May is a Product Engineer at Dynamic Surgical interested in the intersection of healthcare, engineering, design, and entrepreneurship. After graduating with a biomedical engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Travis spearheaded a research project at Brown University focusing on the development of neuromodulatory devices for primate models of neurological deficits. In this role, he was intimately involved in electronic device implementation and in-vivo testing. After publishing several high profile neural engineering publications, Travis turned his attention and passion from academia to the private sector, specifically the medical device industry. As a Product Engineer at Dynamic Surgical, he hopes to lead innovative teams in the development of solutions to today's most difficult medical challenges.
